The global pandemic was the biggest headline, of course, but 2020 actually kicked off with my dad’s passing. In addition, for Americans, it was a turbulent time with Black Lives Matter protests, a historic presidential election and, at the outset of 2021, the storming of the Capitol building by a riotous mob.
