Does coaching make you think of sports teams, or focused on your physical health? It did for me too, at first. But turns out, having someone guide and cheer on your talents is useful in other parts of your life too!
It might be useful to have a coach when:
1. You are considering a career change
Perhaps your circumstances recently changed, like moving or motherhood, and your old career is no longer conducive or as appealing as it used to be. Or maybe you know what you want to do but don’t know how to get there. A coach can help you think it through, consider your options, create a plan to get there, and maybe even help message your journey.
2. You’d like to up level your life
Life is good, but it could be great! A coach can help you create a more purposeful life, at home or at work, by setting clear goals and maybe even boundaries to help you focus on what’s important.
3. You are facing a problem or a dilemma.
Sometimes you just need to talk it out. Coaches believe that you have the answers within you, but sometimes it’s hard to hear that voice. Coaches will ask the right questions to assist you through the issue.
